BCC3 First recruitment drive – Prince George
The BCC3 research team is happy to share the success of our first recruitment drive. From September 12 to 22, our team recruited 28 women living in Prince George. On September 16, participants were also invited to participate in the Knowledge Translation event that took place at CINHS. In the event, 14 participants had the chance to learn more about menopause, socialize, talk to our team members, and share what women’s health represents to them in the form of art.
We want to express our thankfulness for the support received from three very important organizations from the region: Central Interior Native Health Society (CINHS), Prince George New Hope Society, and Positive Living North.
For women who live in other areas of British Columbia and are interested in participating in the study, our team is organizing recruitment drives to Vancouver Island, Kelowna, and Surrey. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more information.
